About the Role
We are looking for Mid-Level MedDRA Coders who can independently manage complex coding activities and support quality and consistency across studies. This role involves deeper engagement with queries, conventions, and stakeholder communication.
Key Responsibilities
Perform and review AE and medical history coding using MedDRA
Apply and interpret Standard MedDRA Queries (SMQs)
Resolve complex coding queries and discrepancies
Support internal reviews, audits, and inspections
Mentor junior coders and support process improvements
Ensure adherence to client-specific coding conventions and SOPs
Requirements
5–10 years of hands-on experience in MedDRA coding
Strong expertise in SMQs and coding conventions
Experience supporting clinical trials and post-marketing safety
Exposure to regulatory inspections and audit readiness
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
